Hello everyone!

Welcome to the new version of ChrisBeaman.net! Some of you wonder what the site is about, so I'll take this opportunity to describe it to you.. It is a site that is played around with a lot and serves random purposes.

The first main purpose I use this site for is to recognize my personal heroes. I think it's important to thank others in our lives and recognizing them publicly adds something extra special to the thanks. Each hero receives a letter in the mail, as well as a small gift from me, thanking them and including the short story for them read and keep. I keep any and all thank you letters or cards I get, and I think they're extremely cool to look back and see.

The second purpose involves the first one, but that is to continue supporting others in any way possible. Whether it be connections I've made or close friends, I want to support others. A great friend, Dustin, from State of Grace Designs runs, maintains, and publicizes the site. He's an incredible friend to not only me, but many others, and uses the site(s) he runs to gain more knowledge and experience in the field of web design. He's awesome at what he does, and I'm extremely grateful to have met him. I want to, through the site, help support him in any way I can.

Any other purpose, I'll leave to your guessing. As with anything done in today's society, the site is going to take both positive and negative comments. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, but in a constructive way. I've heard and seen messages such as "great site", "this site is dumb", "you're just narcissistic", "I like how the site looks", etc. Though I appreciate any and all feedback, constructive feedback is the only necessary feedback.

I look forward to an incredible 2011. Each of you, I trust, will play a part in my year, and I'm excited to see the role I will play in your life as well.
